About Krystle H. McConico & Lydia McConico

Krystle H. McConico lives by an Erma Bombeck quote that shapes both her life and her work: “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, but could say I’ve used everything You gave me.”

Born and raised in Milledgeville, Georgia, Krystle has traveled across the globe sharing her heart for the Lord through worship, creativity, and service. This is her second children’s book, with many more stories and projects she hopes to bring to life. For over a decade, Krystle has served on staff at her local church, Hope City, where she currently leads as Worship & Onboarding Director. Alongside her husband, Jeremiah, they are raising their two children, Lydia and Theodore, in Houston, Texas—including their dog, Zoë.

Lydia McConico is thriving in her second year of homeschooling and loves learning through creativity and curiosity. She enjoys reading her Bible, writing short stories, and diving into her favorite books by Mo Willems and the Lighthouse Family series. When she’s not reading or writing, Lydia can often be found playing guitar, roller skating or enjoying one of her favorite snacks—oatmeal. She is currently taking a break from gymnastics and looks forward to running track in the spring. Lydia brings joy, imagination, and heart to everything she does and loves creating alongside her family.
